What Is Direct2elec?
Direct2Elec (“D2E”) is a national buying group that has been established to specifically service the needs of Australian Auto Electricians.
D2E launched mid 2009 with a small group of enthusiastic members who could see that such a working model will have long term and sustainable benefits for their businesses, and the industry as a whole. We know that the greater the number of members who are purchasing through D2E, the better pricing that we will achieve.
Territories or regions within Australia are now open to registered Auto Electricians. We expect that this offering will subscribe quickly as current industry trends are forcing small business operators to re-think how they do business. Certainly the growth D2E experienced in the first 12 months reflects the need for an alternate means in which Auto Electricans purchase products. As a group, our focus is on supporting small business and helping these businesses compete against the so-called industry 'catagory killers'. Once you become a subscribing member of D2E you will be allocated your territory (the immediate catchment area for your business), and so long as you remain a member in good standing of D2E you will obtain our exclusive benefits for your area.
Immediately you will gain a major point of difference over your competitors within your area/region. It’s up to you whether you pass the saving in component costs on to your customers, or bank the difference between the price that they are paying and the price that you are paying for substantially the same items.
D2E will not over subscribe your market as it is not within the group or the individual member’s best interest.
How it Works
Once accepted as a member, the process of ordering through the group can begin. We already have a large range of products being purchased within Australia or imported from Europe, America and Asia.
We have strong ties with a growing list of global manufacturers and suppliers and work closely with these companies to deliver the best possible products direct to our membership group.
Once a product is determined, we gather the necessary information and ask for feedback from members. Once this information has been processed we then seek expressions of interest from manufactures to determine prices. Once net pricing is established we consult the group, at this point we take firm orders from members and order products accordingly.
The group arrange all ordering, customs, shipping and local delivery on your behalf.
